Disclosure Definitions

Welcome to the Program Disclosures page.  Anthem Education is pleased to provide information about each of its programs on these pages.

The U.S. Department of Education identifies a school by its OPEID, the Office of Postsecondary Education Identification Number.  An OPEID may refer to a single school or a family of schools.  The Program Disclosures refer to the schools that share the same OPEID unless otherwise noted.

Find out about specific disclosures on the Program Disclosures page.

OPEID

Identification number used by the Office of Postsecondary Education in the U.S. Department of Education to identify schools that participate in federal student aid programs.

SOC Code

Standard Occupational Classification code used by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics to identify occupations.

CIP Code

Classification of Instructional Programs code used by the U.S. Department of Education to identify fields of study.

Student Loans

The median loan debt incurred by students who completed their program in the most recent financial aid award year are reported. Amounts are given for federal student aid loans, private loans for educational expenses and loans extended by the school.

The amount reported is the median debt for all of the graduates in that program.

Employment Rates

Employment rates are the percentage of students enrolled in the program who have found employment after graduation. The rates are calculated the way the school’s accreditor requires that calculation. Click on this link to find the name of the accreditor for each school.

If a school also reports placement to a state agency, those rates are reported, too. State rates are for all the schools in that state, not all of the schools that have the same OPEID.

The rates reported to an accreditor and a state may be different because the calculation formulas are different or because the reporting periods cover different months.

Program Costs

Costs are the total costs of tuition and fees for each program. Costs for books and supplies are provided if they are not included in tuition and fees. Room and board are not included because we do not provide on-campus housing.

Costs are given for a program at each school and not for all of the schools that have the same OPEID.

On-Time Completion Rates

The on-time completion rate is the percentage of students who completed their program during the most recently completed financial aid award year. It is the number of students who completed the program on time divided by the number of students enrolled in the program. The on-time completion rate does not include students who voluntarily interrupted their studies or who needed more time to complete all program requirements for any reason.

Occupations

Our programs prepare students for entry-level positions in the occupations listed for each program. Each occupation is identified by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Standard Occupational Code. Click on the link to O*Net, a government-sponsored website, for a description of each occupation.
