Students in dental assistant programs learn to work closely with dentists and ensure that dental practices are operating with a high degree of efficiency.
Anthem College – Bryman School offers a Dental Assistant Diploma through a program that focuses on hands-on learning. Students learn chairside skills, radiography and laboratory procedures, and take courses in dental health and healthcare compliance.
After satisfactorily completing coursework, students are placed in externships where they practice and further develop their skills in real-world settings.
About 1,300 dentists practice in the Phoenix region, which is also home to the Arizona School of Dental and Oral Health, which trains dentists and provides post-graduate study in dentistry.
Our diploma program graduates can compete for entry-level positions as a chairside assistant or dental receptionist. Here is an account about a very successful Bryman graduate who took the Dental Assistant Diploma right into a management program!
