Established in 1982, Anthem College – Phoenix offers career-focused training programs in the healthcare, legal, technical, and veterinary technology fields.
The College offers a learning experience that combines coursework with real-world training in labs. This combination of hands-on learning and career knowledge helps us ensure that students who come prepared to learn will leave prepared to succeed in their career field.
Since the end of the recession, Arizona has faced a steep upward climb. Within that time, however, the Education and Health Services industry has continued to perform well. According to the Arizona Office of Employment and Population Statistics, the sector is expected to grow by 8.3 percent or about 28,000 jobs from 2010 through 2012. The Phoenix-Mesa-Glendale metropolitan area shows the highest percentage of growth for that industry in Arizona.
The training facilities at Anthem College are a big part of providing students with hands-on training in important career skills. In 2010, Anthem College opened a new dental assistant lab and updated the equipment in its Pharmacy Technology lab. The campus also houses a separate veterinary technology training facility for students working toward the Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology.
At Anthem College-Phoenix, we train students in the skills that today’s employers want to see. In this way, we help prepare them to compete for entry-level positions in their career fields after they graduate.
