An Associate of Science Degree
The opportunity to learn computer-aided (AutoCAD) drafting
The knowledge to create drawings in 2-D and 3-D
Training in residential drafting/detailing, roadway drafting, light commercial drafting, structural and commercial detailing, and structural steel drawing

Equipment

Students use the following hardware and software as required throughout the program: Types of computers used are Pentium based configured with the following: 128-256 Megabytes RAM, multigigabyte hard drive, SVGA monitor and video card. Output devices include the OCE-96 Plotter/Scanner, Hewlett Packard LaserJet Printers. The software used includes: AutoCAD-2007, Land Development Desktop, civil software, survey software, Windows 2000, NetWare, and Microsoft Word, and Excel. All courses incorporate hands-on training in Computer Aided Drafting.
